We have just launched in the Netherlands earlier this year! Currently, our restaurant discovery app is live in six Dutch cities, with a team of nine sales representatives. To add several more cities in the Netherlands and beyond to the list, we are looking for a Sales Team Lead to take a major part in our expansion efforts, leading the team by example and shaping our sales culture.
Your mission
  • Lead and manage our Dutch Sales Representatives, ensuring their success in daily operations, which directly contributes to our company’s goals and the successful expansion in the Netherlands.
  • Develop, coach, and mentor the Sales Reps on a daily basis, including shadowing, providing feedback, and implementing necessary changes to improve team structure and performance.
  • Drive motivation and engagement within the Dutch sales culture, fostering a positive and productive working environment.
  • Monitor and analyze team performance, ensuring every team member hits their targets.
  • Take ownership of the commercial strategy for the Netherlands, collaborating with the Head of Expansion to determine the next cities for growth.
Your profile
  • You bring at least 4 years of experience in sales, and at least 2 in sales management or as a team lead, ideally in the hospitality industry or in field sales.
  • You are a great communicator, with the ability to lead by example and inspire authenticity within the team.
  • You have proven experience in leading sales teams, with a track record of driving performance and achieving targets.
  • Your coaching and mentoring abilities allow you to develop team members through daily interactions and feedback.
  • You are a native level Dutch speaker, with professional proficiency in English
  • You bring a commercially minded approach with a strategic understanding of market expansion, specifically within the Netherlands.
  • Your confidence with numbers, looking at dashboards to seeing trends enables you to interpret and act upon data to drive sales performance.
